Summary:
The School District of Borough of Morrisville is seeking special education teachers to join our team for the 2026 Extended School Year (ESY) program.
The program is anticipated to run from June 29 - July 30, 2026; Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM with June 24 from 8:00 AM- 1:00PM for training and preperation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Certification in Special Education PK-12
- Experience with Autistic support, emotional support or Life skills preferred
- Successful classroom experience
- Computer literacy necessary
- Applicant must be innovative, progressive, and capable of working collaboratively with students of all ages, faculty, parents, and administrators
Clearances and other requirements:
If you are an external candidate and you are offered a position with the School District of Borough of Morrisville, please be advised that the following clearances will be required before you are able to begin working:
Background employment clearances and the following additional paperwok must be completed within the last year to be valid: Arrest/Conviction Report (Act 24), PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168), and School Health Record which includes physical (within a year) and TB test (within 3 months).
Salary: Per terms of Collective Bargaining Agreement between Morrisville Board of School Directors and Morrisville Education Association.
